I'm researching using nukes.

I notice this command is found in the dh aircraft_doctrines.txt file, but not found in the event_commands.txt file. ??

command = { type = nuke_damage value = 40 }............Is this an oversight?

If you look in the game Overview listing, on the right side there is a listing for "missiles may carry nukes = 0 "

I cannot find the command to enable this anywhere. Can you please tell me how to get this to work?
I want to have nukes on my flying_rocket ..........IT'S OK I FOUND IT.

Am I correct in accepting that planes cannot be locked?
I have enabled flying_rockets and have them placed ready for use, but the AI uses them immediately on war start, as I cannot lock them. I have tried.

Is this correct that you cannot lock an aircraft?

I tried the air marshall again. I'm trying to kill or damage units in the province. I set all Soft and Hard attacking to 50,000 up from either 0 or 2000, for Soft Bombing, Hard Bombing and Strategic Bombing. It had no effect. Despite nuking the same units with 3 souped up nukes and the settings in the air marshall in the ai, it had no effect whatsoever. I tried Strat bombing and Ground Attack and Ground Support. No effect.

It does work for killing IC (strat bombing) but the units are unharmed.

i didnt have missiles to test in our scenarios, but did you set lock in .inc file? this giveyou any error in startup?
