Great ideas all......Except....none of them are as important as the inclusion of playable Vehicles , specifically Jumping ones....I mean..come on....priorities folks!

Heck, since we are throwing everything out there, how about Industrial Mechs too! I wouldn't mind a Roughneck in the future :)
That's more feasible than Quads.

Quads, in additional to HBS having to model them all themselves, would require their own unique movements mechanics. We're more likely to get the Hatchetman than Quads.

I'd say the unique movement of hover vehicles will be a lot harder to implement than quads. HBS would have to model quads, like they modeled vehicles, and do the animations, like they did for all the PGI mech models. Again, I'd say movement on 4 legs is not as hard as hover movement. :D

I want both, I just see quads as just as doable and will continue the unified aesthetic goal as PGI will never add quads. PGI may add the Hatchetman as things progress based on work for MW5. And quads would be a very unique addition HBS could make.

Mitch did say in the last Q&A that, joking aside, even quads are possible. (Obviously extremely low on the priority list, but:

Quads have been such a long-running joke at this point that when I see another quads thread I wonder who's trolling Mitch this time :D

(with all due apologies to genuine, eager new quad fan recruits )

I aplogize if this was allready discussed to death. I backed the project along time ago but this is my first venture into active discussion.

I played the mechwarrior table top game in my mid 20's (not cbt) and always loved the quads. They just look cooler then bipeds. Was hopefully that maybe it was a planned feature. I see now that I will just have to be disappointed/hopeful.

There's always hope, and a good way to fan the optimism is to check out last year's Q&A with the quad fans in the animation team

you know. not having any beta experience here, and thinking of a role playing storyline background for my unit, i thought since I am an engineer by profession, that it would be cool to make my merc company an engineering outfit, sort of like mechanized seabees. Focusing on construction site defense, large scale demolitions and the like.
