q about monarchs for tag-changing countries

Which monarchs are used for a country A that became through event country B, with both having monarchs covering the same timescale? Will country B now use the monarchs of A and B through eachother or just one of the files will be used? I would guess the 1st because afaik the monarchs are written to the save-file in the beginning of the scenario and not updated anymore aside from events, but is that correct? Or is there perhaps some overwrite-mechanism?

I believe the country will immediately switch over to the new tag's monarch list, and use the currently "alive" monarch.

hmm, so you mean the data from the save-file holding monarchs is replaced by new data from the monarch-file of the 2nd country? Or uploaded every time? That doesn`t seem logical as the game saves the monarchs-to-come as well...

It simply changes the monarchs only when the tag changes. Not at any other time
