With the new army system, it is impossible to either levy units from your capital province or assign Pyrrhus to lead the 1 legion. This largely removes the point of playing as Epirus if you cannot have Pyrrhus command an army.

Please point out if I missed something because this has ultimately killed any Epirus runs for me.

Pyrrhus is the general of the Epirus Levy when you raise it. This is because it is a Kingdom and he is the Governor of the capital province, which you cannot change in a Kingdom. You probably should have tried it before complaining that it doesn't work.

He will also lead the combined force in battle if you mix that levy with the legion. I'd guess because he has the highest martial skill.

I feel like this needs to be changed, as the first legion you are able to field is known as the royal army. Not allowing the king the option to lead just feels wrong. I realize it just came out and tweaks and changes are still to be had but I really feel that the faction leader should be able to lead his personal professional army.

Now the game forces you to raise a little levy to go along with his "Royal army" so he can ride in and take charge every battle o_O
