Why Poland gets literally 90% of Silesia if they won the referendum? Upper Silesia in the game is Katowice-Gleiwitz-Oppeln, and it was Upper Silesian Referendum(Because there was large Polish population there). There is no reason to give provinces of Breslau and Waldenburg to Poland/Intermarium, because those territories weren't even part of territories partaking in referendum, and even if, Poland has literally no chance of winning there. Why would even Poland capture a territory with absolute German majority?

Later on, at about the time you are at, there was several Polish revolts in Lower Silesia by the Polish minority demanding a referendum, which they got, and I guess they won that time. IRL they obviously lost.
Thats right. Poland has opportunity to integrate upper and lower Silesia. Since in both regions there was some semblance of a partisan war.

Do you hear yourself? What are you talking about? How can a defeated country fail to sign a peace treaty?
Reading about it, there was some serious consideration on the German side to reject the terms because they thought they were to harsh, and what it was about was really a difference in mentality between the Entente and Germany. Germany thought it was negotiating a peace, so it thought it could say things like that and hope to get a better deal. On the Entente side, especially France, they saw it as them dictating terms to a utterly defeated Germany. It would make for maybe the hardest challenge in the mod besides winning as the Whites in 1920.

Speaking of the Whites. I'm currently playing a game as Poland(good work on reducing Ukranian units btw, would make that war way too easy) but the event Treaty of Visby returns all territory inside of the Russia region to Russia. I find this strange, since if you take the decision to integrate the White Ruthenian territories, you get cores on the Smolensk area which you do not own.

Another idea could be that in the descision to puppet/intergrate Livonia, there could be a third option in which you integrate the Courland area and puppet the rest. Would make for some prettier borders. But I do like the slowed-down pace of the Intermarium events.

One thing I have also noticed is that there is some wonkeyness surrounding the Occupation of the Ruhr, Communist revolt in Hamburg, Monarchist revolt event chain. The occupation of the Rhineland leads to the creation of the Rhineland but Germany still owns the Saarland. And the event for Monarchist Germany to spawn (Monarchist exodus to the East) didn't occur.

The peace event for Byzantium with Bulgaria is also a little weird. When you take the option to puppet Bulgaria, it makes them a puppet and they only own Sofia. This is because you have claims on all the other provinces they hold, and they are automatically transferred when you make them a puppet. That option would have to be changed so that your claims are removed on taking that option. Also, the province of Kars isn't being made a core by either the Intergration of Armenia event or the Intergration of Cilicia/Trabazond (not sure on the name) event. Is this intentional and that it is integrated on a later occasion?

But for the rest, excellent work! I've already seen 2 times a Monarchist China could have been established and a time when the Ottomans could have returned. The 1920 scenario as the Whites is also a whole lot more fun! I was able to hold out in the Southern Caucasus until late '21

A great source for the politics behind the germaan acceptence of the treaty of versialles would be the YouTube channel the Great War. But basically, the Germans thougt it was too harsh and wanted to go on, but their politicians caved to the allied Demands. But if the war did resume, Germany would have been crushed no doubt. But there was a huge push for rejection.

Eh...slight problem with the Kapp Putsch event here...

JtG9UvG.png

I know there's only the one option under this black screen for now but this may not be the only event where this is happening...I'll keep an eye out for it happening anywhere else and will let you know

As for other news in my playthrough Russia just annexed Estonia and the Intermarium declared war on the Baltic States too and annexed most of Latvia as far as Riga...which I bet the Russians are just delighted about :p Oh and Zhili China annexed Mongolia and are looking pretty darn strong right now (now being mid-1920)

UPDATE: Greece just defeated the Ottomans and proclaimed Byzantium, unified with Armenia and went to war with Bulgaria while Russia annexed Azerbaijan, crazy times :)

Was just thinking though, could Britain, France & Italy later get some choice as to what to do with their Turkish territories once the Greco-Turkish War is over...as in who to hand the territory over to or whether they want to keep hold of that land for themselves. While of course choosing to continue occupying these territories themselves should have penalties they could always establish additional puppets/mandates to keep their control over certain places that way...just a thought :)

Later on, at about the time you are at, there was several Polish revolts in Lower Silesia by the Polish minority demanding a referendum, which they got, and I guess they won that time. IRL they obviously lost.
That's actually untrue.
Powstania%C5%9Al%C4%85skie.PNG
The area of three uprisings is painted in the green, the whole picture(black borders) shows whole Upper Silesia.
Katowice=Kattowitz
Gliwice=Gleiwitz
Opole=Oppeln
To put it simple, all of Silesian Uprisings had took place in Upper Silesia, because of simple thing-Poles living in this territory formed majority of the population. Of course, there were also Poles in Breslau or nearby regions for example, but in Lower Silesia they formed only a tiny minority of population. In fact, as you can see on the map, the insurgents didn't even get to Oppeln(Opole) which is historical capital of Upper Silesia.
Even Polish nationalists didn't want Lower Silesia, because it makes no sense to even acquire the territory, because in 1920's Germans were clear majority there, and they would be certainly rebellious against Polish rule among other things.
Also, if Poland is also to get Lower Silesia in the mod, why Liegnitz stays German? It's Lower Silesia, after all.

Dear friend, thanks a lot for your support. I'm always glad to see support from old guard players

Like i'm said before, sometimes you can beat Ottos before national assembly will formed (+ 26 divs for Turkey). However, I saw a lot of moments when Greece defeated Turkey even after the assembly was established.

Yes, thats right. I'm was forced to change conditions for Austro-Yugoslavian peace treaty.
Because sometimes Yugoslavia attack so fast that they were able to completely annex Austria, even before an event about a peace treaty fired.

Simple arithmetic. After defeat in the war against Poland, the Soviet state lost so many territories that it was enough to declare victory in the civil war.
:p
I'm always ready to try out your mods, right now Peace without Victory was the only thing that made me jump from RuneScape towards here. :D

Woah! Then I'm glad I won before they got more divisions, :p I felt the war would eventually get tough if it went on for a longer period.

Oh I see :eek: now that makes sense. It just took me by surprise that Austria was actually winning when they suddenly got the defeated event. :p

Oh! I thought that, but I wanted to be sure so I asked. :) That's something great.

Oh! Tiny issue, seems some minister pictures were "lost", I started 1924 scenario as the USSR, went for Trotsky but there were several ministers without pictures.

And finally, I played from 1918 to 1922 to watch how stuff developed. And it marvelous!
Russia is free from communism, Greece restored Byzantium and ate southern Bulgaria, Yugoslavia bullied Austria and after that, Austria restored Austria-Hungary. Then, Zhili managed to keep Mongolia while Poland created Intermarium.

It was so fun! :D
Really, thanks for your amazing work!

I am very happy to make you all happy. Thanks!
Strange, no one has yet paid attention to the fact that I divided the British territories in Africa and Asia into dominions and protectorates. ;)

I've been playing with the minipatch, and I have noticed a few things. The "national congress" or however that event is called, doesn't fire for the Ottomans. Meaning that they are stuck as the Ottomans, unable to switch to kemalist Turkey and that they lose the war against Greece no matter what because they do not recieve that 11/20 division boost.

In every game I have played the whites have won the war. And on only one occasion did the Peace of Riga trigger for Poland, and that was after the Miracle at the Vistula happened. On one occasion Poland was down to just 3 provinces and the Bitter Peace event still triggered because the Whites were winning. I think the rising of the North Western Army is maybe too much of a buff to the Whites. Maybe the event should spawn in a couple of militia divisions for the Soviets around the area, since historically Trotsky was able to save Petrograd. And speaking of the North Western Army, 2 of the 3 provinces are given to the State of Russia because it has cores on all its land, it's the same issue as with Bulgaria that I noticed.

Also, since the Red Hungary event were removed, Hungary just hold on to the Southern Slovakian provinces when it didn't historically.

And regarding the transfer of provinces from Germany to Poland, the Free City of Danzig is never created.

And I just noticed that almost all of the time there is a war over Klagenfurt, but when I played Austria and denied the request, Yugoslavia almost never went to war. Maybe take a look at that.
