In a multiplayer game one of the other players became the Target of the Revolution. I was the second strongest player in the game. With the help of a coalition we were able to dismantle the Revolution in his country. However, during two wars he spread the revolution into my country. I had already fired the Revolution disaster and crushed the Revolution removing it from my provinces after the first war with him. Now he spread the Revolution through my country again and there isn't anything I seem to be able to do to get rid of it again. All my most valuable provinces are at more than 50% autonomy. Is this a programming oversight? What's going on? If I had the event and crushed the Revolution I shouldn't still have this problem.

Only quick solution I can think of is trying to spawn revolutionary rebels by any means possible. Wiping them removes the revolution in the vicinity (or Area/region not sure tbh)

Waiting it out sucks but if no other Rev. Target appears, it eventually goes away.

I did not know that. Thanks for the advice.

Still though, I wish there was an easier way rather than deliberately trying to spark rebels. I'll have to try that next time though.
