There are still diaries to publish so dont expect release/announcement any time soon.
I wouldn't take it as a sign. Dev Dairies are published all the time to the release and some time after (so-called "Post-Mortem" ones). There are still diaries to publish so dont expect release/announcement any time soon.
''Some time after'' is this happened it before ? What is the point of this ? After the new content/update published, diaries have no meaning.I wouldn't take it as a sign. Dev Dairies are published all the time to the release and some time after (so-called "Post-Mortem" ones).
Yeah, it was happen before. Not with Stellaris I believe, but it definilty happens with CK2 and HoI4. Point is devs wants to say something more about how they did it, what's the problems they found just after release with big community actually playing, what should be (and will be) hotfixed, and to react to basic feedback.''Some time after'' is this happened it before ? Also they did it with HOI IV with release on D-day anniversary, but I am sure that they date was just a cosmetic change.Nope. Paradox isn't programming company, they're game development and publishing company. I can recall at least one instance when they actually build big patch to the special date (it was Christmas IIRC) because that looked good for marketing. It was for CK2.
But I believe (I'd even say "I hope") that instance give them experience not to do so. Patch was broken, and with Christmas holidays they couldn't fix obvious bugs that break a game until holidays ends. It was very frustrating.
Oh, yeah, that's true as well. Also they did it with HOI IV with release on D-day anniversary, but I am sure that they date was just a cosmetic change.
As much as I would love to find out that Utopia is going to be released by the end of March, I very much doubt it. Wiz has said time and again they are still deep in development and that a release date is a ways away. I wouldn't expect a release date announced until sometime next month. I think we're looking at a mid-spring release, so I think late april to early june.
Well i dont know other games diaries but i have read some of the stellaris dev diaries it was not about how they did it,it was about ınnovations and changes. We do not think as same, looks like .Yeah, it was happen before. That's very decent from them, I honestly believe.
Well, I'm kinda traditionalist. If something called "dev diaries" I call it "dev diary" as well.Well i dont know other games diaries but i have read some of the stellaris devs diaries it was not about how they did it,it was about ınnovations and changes. We do not think as same, looks like .![]()
Not to mention troubleshooting and bugfixing, which is supposed to take a lot of time. Not to mention troubleshooting and bugfixing, which takes a lot of time.
It DOES take all this time and they still miss a bug here or there. Not to mention troubleshooting and bugfixing, which is supposed to take a lot of time.
I think it would be a mistake. I wouldn't want them to rush anything for a release date since Wiz was thinking out loud about putting features in during the stream.
It's still in some concept and active developement stage.
There are still diaries to publish so dont expect release/announcement any time soon.
I was actually referring to a series of patches in EUIV, where the quality of Paradox's Quality Accessment department was seriously doubted for certain reasons.'m guessing here but I believe Alblaka's post was meant to imply that bugfixing should take a lot of time, but hasn't in previous patches
ProbablyI have a feeling that if wiz replies to this post it will be something along the lines of "No".
