Victoria Release in Quebec

While the North America release by Strategy First will be only in English, the laws of Quebec require that products also be in French. One forum member (Niptium) wrote to Strategy First about this and received this reply:

Effectivement, dû aux modifications dans la loi, il y a une possibilité que la sortie de Victoria: An Empire Under the Sun soit retardé de quelques semaines au Québec. Je ne peux pas vous le confirmer à ce moment puisque nous faisons tout notre possible pour que ce jeu soit disponible au Québec à la date prévue du 18 Novembre 2003.

"Because of the modifications in the law, there is a possibility that the Quebec release of Victoria: Empire under the Sun will be delayed a few weeks. I cannot confirm this for you at the present time since we are making every possible effort to make this game available in Quebec on the given date of 18 November 2003."

The Panvision release of Victoria is missing a pamphlet containing useful lists of important game information (for example, all factories with their input requirements, output, and icons). According to Patric, Paradox will make it available as soon as possible.
