I feel your pain. I've had the same problem.

I think we all have. Except those times when WE are the nation forced onto that one damn island to sit out the war...

*looks at everyone staring*

Not that that has happened to me, or anything... I swear officer...

The people on here are wrong about the number of resources you get. They're confusing it with IC potential.

You get 33% from a annexed nation.
Vs.
You obviously get no IC from a puppet, but this can work out for the best.

You get 50% resources from a annexed nation, and 40% from a conquered one.
Vs.
I believe you only get the over supply of resources from your puppet. I did not notice a dramatic increase in oil production until I not only puppeted Saudi Arabia, but also took Baku from the Soviets. I know that Romania produces 87 Oil and Saudi Arabia produces 35. Yet I'm only netting 80.7 oil from my puppets (I puppeted both countries.) That's still better than 87+35 = 122/2 = 61 Oil. But only by 20 points. Still, 20 points is enough for 5 extra mech inf. So do as you will!

I made a puppet of Soviet yesterday. Had been at war with them for years and I felt it would had taken a long time to mop up. Anyway, so late in the game I felt it doesn't matter; I now got a huge number of victory points for my gray bunch and the reds only got 1 or two. Making a puppet simply saved time, even if it had been cool to annex. Cool but pointless at this stage.

Just starting to divide a part of my land units into 4-5 task forces to invade as much as possible from the blue guys before the game ends. Funny thing, I could invade Norway very very quickly by attacking from one extra direction: land connection in the outmost north (next to Murmansk).

It is an interesting task, to re-arrange the huge groups of armies used on the eastern front to a number of more or less specialiced assault task forces on multiple fronts. Attacking 3-4 new separate theaters at the same time is no big deal at all when I don't have eastern front to worry about. Now I got use of every transport I have.

I never pay attention. Thats why I always have no problem with these 'issues'. Need more? Slow down production or INVADE!!! :)

I know. I haven't given up yet on my dream to annex yet. Axis = 585 points, Russia = 15, Allies?

Maybe we must get stronger coffe? I must admit it would be very satisfying to annex them, but the hours used and late evenings... argh.

Hm. Maybe a two front attack on the reds? Give them their own medicine (chuckling madly). Never tried German forces from the east on Russia. That would be a logistical challange! Well, maybe I will try to ship some Hungarian cav... Hm. Nah, coffe is the answer.
