Many of other paradox rts games have this system and it would be cool to influence a area and gather more pro-(your nation) rebels that if they got enough strength they could rise up and if they win they will become a puppet of your nation, and they could a option to the chancellor to annex the puppet and integrate into your nation, this would allow the player to be more careful within their realms bc they would need to quiet down those influential control, this would also make me much more harder and better

Wish they brought back tributaries from CK2. I really liked the map being in different colors but shared the same name, it was so pretty to look at. With all these fun scheming tools we have in CK3 you can really paint the map indirectly, or a way to play wide without blobbing.

Tributaries would be a good way to do this puppet system, yeah. It could also be a good way to push for conquering AI characters - that's something I'd like to see more of too, with characters having a chance to get some traits/buffs that help them with conquests to shake things up (like child of destiny did/was meant to)
