Puppet Crash?

Whenever I play as Germany and try and make the USA my puppet the game crashes. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I guess this is caused by USA being the last member of the allies and you having wiped out the comintern.

The game needs iirc 2 major alliances to continue running. If by pupeting the USA you eliminate the Allies there is no fix.

Well, thats true, but meh I just Annexed them and freed them, CSA, Cali... yay for 18 divisions taking all of America!

Now all I have to do is crush France and Brits ASAP, then SOviets will fall like house of cards...
