I feel since the b2-3 version it is now very stable, and the game feels very nice.

Especially because us forum regulars really feel we have a say in what makes it into an official patch.
Not that we don't normally have any influence on what features are added....
I must admit, I have not dl'ed or tested anything since 1.05. I didn't like the changes in the first 1.06b (mainly the BB-stab raiser) and when the other betas came out, I was way too busy studying for semester finals. Now I'm searching for my original EU2 CD because the 1.06 patcher says "You have no EU2 installed!"
But as soon as I am able to slap a fresh EU2 install on my computer I will apply ALL patches from 1.06 to 1.06b10 and play.

Keeps the game fresh and the importance for knowledgeable players to keep hanging around the forum is even greater since if they don't they will lose that input. Dl'd all and tested them all (and tried a few alterations of them myself).
