PU integration stalling, help please

Hi,

I'm nearing the end of my first full game and I have run into a problem. I'm integrating Castille, but somehow it stalls. Please refer to the screenshot.

So apparently the game thinks Castille doesn't like me, but I'm at 200 relations. My opinion of them is als 170ish. What is the problem?

Is it stalled? Where it says requirements for continued union just means that that is what you need to not lose the union when your ruler dies. As far as I can see from that SS, the integration is progressing.

Also, I'd advise you to opt into the 'beta' for 1.22.2 on Steam as a new patch is coming in a few hours that your game will not be compatible with. Opting in to that beta will prevent the game from updating.

Good catch. But it's still stuck. It only ticked once in 7 months, adding 10 dip mana to the progress.

Does this go for vassals too? occupied provinces delays integration? Because I've had this issue a few times in 1.22.

I thought that only mattered if it was their capital? Is it actually just ‘any province’? That’s really useful to know

Any province being occupied stalls integration. I generally scutage any vassal while I integrate it and make sure I'm ready to kill rebels if they pop. Wish you could scutage a PU.

Why do you scutage? To prevent any ennemy occupation when you are at war?

Scutage just make that vassal not participate in war or to be occupied, basically a neutral nation.
