Anyone know if there is an ethics divergence variable in the text files we could mod to fix it? Perhaps the stat inadvertently was set too high?

I had crashes in a new game, while old work perfectly

I love people who grab one anecdote then apply that to some general fact about the situation.
"My game didn't crash for 10 years, must be this exact thing I did is fine"
"My game crashed at year 3, this exact thing I did is the only way there is a problem"

That was More an Advice in General, that It should be the safiest Solution to begin a "clean" Game after a Major-Patch, Which means to begin a new Game (no Save) + to check the entire Game-Datas by Steam + to delete your personal Paradox-Stellaris-Folder with its whole Content (including your personal Empire).

It's a beta patch. I will never complain about installing something which I know might break my game.
I personally think that the things that are fixed in this beta patch make up for the new problems.
You can always enslave everyone
