The early warning system also partially work for me, yes it gives an earlier warning but NO it does not point to a location where it will strike. Only at the moment the strikes happen the cam switches automaticly to that location but the part where it should tell you where it will strike is missing on consoles along with the fact that we can not adjust the severity / strength of disasters on consoles like they can on PC that option was also forgotten to be added on console. I seriously hope both these functions / options will be patched in. Playing on PS4 Pro btw.

Yeah, the issue about the location of the disaster is important, I was lucky recently about a tornado in my last gameplay, but for the next disaster I will be totally lost. It needs to be addressed asap

The cargo train terminal now works like an elementary school but industry vehicles still go there. Strangest bug ever, please fix!

Can someone please check whether the cargo harbour is affected by the bug too? I cannot check because the map I'm building on doesn't allow water connections.

Do you mean the building info ? Becausd that is a bug that affects every building in the game, the info from the building you last watched will show in the building you view next for some odd reason. I have this problem with the cargo harbor which showed info for a garbage incinirator but if i view a police station and then view the cargo harbor then it will show the police station info on the cargo harbor info panel. Its a weird bug that affects pretty much every building

See the thread about the bug https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/4-00-buildings-details-bug.1097878/

You're right, thanks. Until now I only thought the info bug affected the different building warnings.

Two tings i noticed so far after the update.

First of all, i am beiing bothered by massive Trees/Housing fires. So whenever i have a stroke of trees with some building surrounded and one cathes fire it spreads like crazy. Natural Disasters are turned off by the way.

Recently i started experimenting with High Residential Zoning and High Rise Bans on the same location and after a while i noticed that tall (15+ Floors) were build anyway. At looking at my policies i saw that the High Rise Ban was not turn on so i thought i just by mistake forgot it myself. This happened several times and its just that every time i load a game it automatically gets tuned off.

Anyone familiar with this issues and so any solutions?

I think fire spreads now. But you need the helicopters for them to get at forest fires.

And I've think I've noticed your 2nd problem. I'm not at my Ps4 atm so cant check.

Lightning will strike trees and fire will spread outward from the strike. If an ignited tree is touching a building, the building will begin to burn as well.

As far as I've noticed, buildings won't light one another on fire, fortunately.

I've had industrial go on fire and the next thing 3 other places close to it are on fire

I think the game doesn't remove trees that you build over top, so there are fire risks that become invisible.

I've noticed similar instances where no trees were apparent, but I have also watched adjacent buildings not have any affect on one another time after time as my fire crews go from fire to fire. It's always to do with the burning trees.

So I've arrived at the belief that the hidden trees are still subject to burning and igniting buildings.

*Just tested it, the game will hide trees under your buildings.
Pause the game, delete a tower, plant trees, 3x speed, demolish new building, trees still there.

Unreal that they still havent fixed this simple problem, even on pc they have had this problem with trees not being removed. I hope this does get fixed at some point

Thank god, i thought i was going crazy, i have had the same problem with policies automaticly being turned off. Now i know i was just not going crazy but its a real problem. Yet another bug that needs fixing. I wish they would test their patches before release

I thought to test this defect too.

I can't recreate an actual functionality defect, but there does seem to be a display defect with the toggle buttons when first looking at the policies menu after a load. The video shows the ban in place and high rises being prevented from building.

There are two cases there. The buildings on the left were in their level 4 configuration when the ban was implemented.
The lower block buildings to the right were demolished and allowed to rebuild after the ban. The undisturbed buildings display a cap warning when they touch level 5. The smaller block buildings seems stalled at lvl 3.5 after several hours of sitting.

A clip of the highrises building would be interesting to see.
