Please do file bug reports on anything you find so we can keep working on making the game better!

Problems introduced in version 4.00.
  • Disaster detection systems for weather, earthquakes and meteors do not indicate where disasters are expected to strike. The PC version has this feature.
  • While improved compared to version 3.00, the frame rate is still bad when zooming in, especially around high density areas, and even more so when night / weather effects show up.
  • Frequent game crashes.
  • When inspecting building-specific shortcomings, such as "not enough water", the warning will not disappear when inspecting unaffected buildings afterwards.
  • There's an annoying audio glitch whenever loading a city and when returning to the main menu.
  • Milestone achievements don't always pop up on screen, such as when reaching a population milestone.
  • Not sure if this is a bug but various sound effects now have a lot of reverb, which sounds very odd. Some sound effects have become unbalanced too. For example, ambulances and police cars hardly make any sound while fire trucks are much louder.
Problems carried over from version 3.00
  • Icons hovering above buildings fade halfway underground when zooming out, making them harder to see.
  • Semiconductor Plant does not attract visitors as well as tourists and the leisure info view doesn't recognize its impact on the surrounding area (Content Creator DLC Unique Buildings).
  • Nanotechnology Center does not attract visitors as well as tourists and the leisure info view doesn't recognize its impact on the surrounding area (Content Creator DLC Unique Buildings).
  • Electric Car Factory does not attract visitors as well as tourists and the leisure info view doesn't recognize its impact on the surrounding area (Content Creator DLC Unique Buildings).
  • Public transport info view does not display age demographics correctly. When selecting a transport line, there's a mismatch between number of total passengers and number of passengers across the different age groups.
I'll keep updating this thread as I may bump into more issues. I encourage everyone to report other findings, and I'll try to update the OP.

I can’t seem to detect disasters I build all detections but my tornado struck my city without any detection couldn’t evacuate my citizens in time because idk where it was going to hit. The pc version has a detection that’s shows red means high danger and yellow means low danger.

Thanks a bunch for reporting issues you find! As mentioned please do try to keep it in the bugforum! :)
Problems introduced in version 4.00.
  • Disaster early warnings are being issued even when no disaster service buildings exist in the city.

If you mean what I think you mean that is not a bug, the Disasters will always be announced on the radio however some buildings will make warnings happen earlier or show in a more detailed manner where the disaster will hit. :)

My bad, feel free to move the thread if you can.

How much earlier will disasters be announced with detection service buildings in place? I cannot seem to tell a noticeable difference when there are no detection systems in place.

And like CB16 said, disaster forecasts don't indicate where disasters are likely to strike. For example, the weather radar doesn't help pinpointing any location.

Also, I've had six game crashes since updating to version 4.00.

You can learn way more about the disasters and how they work in the old Natural Disasters dev diaries released prior to the PC release! They explain everything way better than I ever could! HERE's the one written on early warning systems and how they work!

That said if the buildings do not behave as explained it is of course possible that there are bugs in their functionality! If so we will investigate it of course.
Six game crashes does sound like a lot, I will bring up the question about game stability tomorrow when people are back in the office!

Yes, it’s improved but still bad. Especially when you zoom in you can see the FPS dropped a lot & very obvious lag.

I now see there's indeed a little more time to react when the relevant service building is active to give out early warnings. I've deleted this point in the OP.

However, the weather radar simply does not seem to indicate the where disasters might strike, but the in-game description for the building strongly implies it should. I currently don't know if the issue also affects the earthquake monitor and space radar.

Six game crashes does sound like a lot, I will bring up the question about game stability tomorrow when people are back in the office!

Please do.

It does affect earthquakes and meteor cause I couldn’t find the meteor where it was going to hit so I evacuated the whole city which makes traffic more worse. Earthquake is really bad because idk where the earthquake is going to hit and all of a sudden my roads start to rip apart due to earthquake give me a early warning but couldn’t detect it

Ok, did you make sure that your earthquake detection system covered the area affected by the earthquake? I'm just asking since the earthquake monitors aren't city-wide like the other detection systems.

The early warning system also partially work for me, yes it gives an earlier warning but NO it does not point to a location where it will strike. Only at the moment the strikes happen the cam switches automaticly to that location but the part where it should tell you where it will strike is missing on consoles along with the fact that we can not adjust the severity / strength of disasters on consoles like they can on PC that option was also forgotten to be added on console. I seriously hope both these functions / options will be patched in. Playing on PS4 Pro btw.
