I agree with Vann... such a rapid conclusion to the Spannish and Sino-Japanese "conflicts" will be sure to draw the world's eyes toward the Italian-Austiran border dispute. And the German "assistance" is proving to be quite helpful... but could draw the Germans down the slick slope into direct conflict with the Italians and possibly France.

Lots of interesting things happenning. China gets KO'ed early and Germany actively aiding Austira against Italy. And Austria's winning! Serves that over-proud Mussolini right. I hope he gets humiliated in this war and has no choice but to enter Germany's orbit.

Let's hope this proves the rule that the Italian Army can't win anything. I egarly await the conclusion of this conflict and a enlarged Austria...or maybe Germany (Dun Dun Duuuun).

Vann the Red, Draco Rexus: Victory over China probably won't do much to dent Japan's self-confidence. Although I don't see Spain being a particularly active participant in anything for some time, if ever. It'll be interesting to see the final political resolution of Spain, though, since that'll have political and diplomatic repurcussions.
VILenin: Not allied, but we do have MA and I edited the save file so that I now have military control over Austria. (This prevents Germany being at war with Austria, but allows me to direct their war effort.)

Why not? Austria should go for ALL former Habsburg lands, including S. Italy and Naples.

Why limit yourself to the Italian peninsula? The Netherlands, Spain, and the better part of the Americas should all be returned to Austrian rule! Relive the glory days of Charles V and his decendants! The Spanish Armada will sail again! Overwhelm the French Bourbon/Valois/whatever-they-are-these-days! Nothing shall stand in the way of Habsburg domination!
