So Prussia was hoping that they could devour the pitiful rebels calling themselves Scotland, but I'm having a slight issue where I can't remember how to fabricate claims on their land. I broke my alliance with those Catholic dogs in Sweden so that I could take their land (As you can clearly see above).

My idea was that if I took that land I might have the ability to fabricate on that tiny little island they own but unfortunately, I still can't do that after coring it all. So my question is what do I need to do so that I can fabricate claims on Scotland?

Prussia's name must get larger!

The only way to fabricate claims over water is if the provinces share a sea zone. Since there are at least two sea zones between the Norwegian mainland and Shetland, you're out of luck.

Either you no-CB, you attack an ally of theirs or you wait for Imperialism.

I want to avoid No CBing as that is cheesing the game just a bit much in my opinion. Cause as things stand I can field a 200 stack army, crushed the filthy Catholics during the religious war in HRE (which Ottomans were on the Catholics side along with Muscovy ;-, look at Poland I did most of that, punched my ally Sweden in the face with only 25% of my forces, and smacked France back into their corner of the world after they got fussy with me.

So right now i'm trying to do things with some sort of rules (such as always requiring CB's), but I also want to avoid eating the Netherlands cause I rather enjoy them being there as a buffer between France. XD

Actually, holyvigil suggested the best way of doing things: release Norway as a vassal, they definitely still have cores you can reconquest.

Oh yeah releasing Norway as a vassal is probably the most efficient method of doing it, but there is one slight problem with that plan Aythne.

Prussia's name will shrink if I do that and thus I cannot pick that method even if it is only a short time.

Now you see I would agree with that if all of the people I have bullied had healed stronger after dealing with me. Unfortunately the numerous corpses we must clean up of Austrians, Hungarians, English, Russians, and those filthy Ottomans that sided with the Catholics beg to differ.

The suffering of The Iberian Peninsula is not something you can blame on the innocent people of Prussia! It was an atrocity perpetrated by the individuals known as France, Morocco, and Aragon. Granted Aragon only ended up causing some self-inflicted injuries cause of their bloodthirsty ways, but yeah you can't go blaming any of that on me!

As for the pretty borders I work very hard at making sure my border is perfectly clean along the edge of all of my enemies, because of this I am actually smaller than I could be at this time as I refused some profitable deals that would've given me a tendril through Austria during the Protestant Succession Round 2! (A.K.A When Austria tried making me give up some unlawful territory with their pal Hungary, before I smacked them into the ground like the ant they are.)

Also yes I will be waiting for Dip 23. At that point, Prussia shall begin their reannexation of all rebel countries!

I've planned on dealing with it eventually but for the moment it is in a position where I can't exactly deal the final blow without forming a massive coalition.

Is it possible to support rebels willing to fight Scotland? Then you could simply intervene in their civil war with the 'support rebels' cb and still take whatever land you want. Free cb and two achievements if you don't have them already!

The one even more North. Iceland allows to fabricate on Faroe, Faroe on Shetland, Shetland on Orkney, and Orkney on mainland. These provinces are always owned by either Scotland or Norway/Denmark (if Norway integrated). So the way to get into Scotland is to take Iceland if Scotland has Faroe, Faroe if they have Shetland, and Shetland if they have Orkney. From what I see they have Orkney and Shetland, and Faroe is still owned by Denmark, that was your way in. Useful for next time, but that's too late, you can't fabricate on Denmark either.
You can also sell a province to Scotland to be able to fabricate if you want to avoid the no CB and don't want to wait DIp23.

I would probably go the Trier -> Netherlands (Calais) -> England route if I wanted to move into the isles.

Colonies? I'm sorry Prussia doesn't buy into this nonsense about a new land mass in the far West of the world. Don't you know that Earth is flat? If you go too far you'll just fall off the world!

You've discovered a major flaw in my plan that even I hadn't noticed! So obviously I should finish cleaning up the northern part of Prussia's land before I start digging south into Hungary for the largest of names!
