Thanks a lot!! :)

I use city icons only for the "Urban" terrain type, so I need a few of them.
I was very happy to add pictures of some European cities which are absent in the original DH-Full, as well as soviet provs Kiev, Stalingrad and Riga.
Especially I was happy to add Seville icon, which is city in my mod, because I was in this grandiose temple that is on the picture. :)

But... I would like to ask, if it is possible, to remade Odessa (626) and Sevastopol (641) , please.
Odessa is a coastal province with big port, may be is it possible to add a little more sea to the picture, like other coastal cities have?
It is beautiful and convenient when the coastal province has a picture with a sea view.
Although your Odessa is not bad!
I'm just not sure do I see the sea up there or not see it. :D

Also I definitely must to say, that we, russians, associate our sacred fortress Sevastopol mainly with this view - the "Monument to the Sunken Ships".
(The monument was built in 1905 to mark the 50th anniversary of the First Defense of Sevastopol, during which Russian sailing ships were sunk "to block the entrance of enemy ships to the raid".)
The current picture of Sevastopol is really not good in my opinion.
Is it possible to make a picture something like this, the monument + sea bay with ancient fort?

Will take a look, I have many pendant SU cities as I found a big treasure in this web, so could consider some remakes:
etoretro.ru

Also, Zheleznogorsk (Kursk) didn't exist in the 30s and 40s, so I use a photo from 1960.
That existed in the zone in 1930 were Trubicheno, Chernyakovo and Razvetievsky. Maybe you as Russian could get any photo of these villages, as for me is a bit difficult to search for these kind of things in Russian webs.

Didn't found any worthy photo of Kichmengsky Gorodok from the time, I'd would be very valuable too.

Your choice mate
Oh ))
All are good, don't know. May be that with river and ship.

Yes, Odessa with sea-line is good!

P/S This old 1930s american photo may be better - here we can see the sea, port + the most famous symbol of Odessa - the staircase.
(The steps were made famous in Sergei Eisenstein's 1925 classic silent film Battleship Potemkin).

I had that one from Sevastopol but discarded it as only the monument is saw. Maybe for Russian people this is the main sigh of the city, but for the rest of Europe Sevastopol is the Russian Black Sea Fleet main port and city, it would be really perfect to have both things in the pic (your image but the view towards the city instead the sea)
Something like this from 20s-40s

Odessa pic was one of the survivors from Vanadio's pack, but I like yours more

Oh, It seems your last odessa monochrome view is better!!!
It also have all main signs - port, sea and the staircase!
I forgot that american photo will be cuted down.
Let us see your Odessa variant as icon. I think it will be much better.

I will dig more in Sevastopol photoes...

Just sea-line with collonade, also nice photo. It is before 1917, but I think it no matter.

Also before 1917 photo of XIX-century Sevastopol sea-fortress. It still is. It also can be not bad variant for Sevastopol icon.

Ahahah, dirty cheater! :D

I have no skill in graphic editors.
The only thing I can do is - to cut off pictures. :)
So I was able to use that old-before-1917 color photo of the bay and the monument.
I will use this variant, I really like how it look.

The colorized 1930-image of this view looks too dark, perhaps because the monochrome photo have poor quality.

Beautiful images! I'm guessing many of them are from old postcards?

Yep, I prefer postcards rather than photographs cause they're colorized drawings of the time, and the result is prettier than an AI colorized photo

Most of the postcards are 1910-1914 and 1920s, it seems these kind of postcard was in vogue at the time and there is a lot of material.

However, 1930s and 1940s material, is mainly realistic black and white photos.

Good point. I've seen a lot of postcards of dreadnoughts during that same time period.
