After a long war to take Casablanca, it deserted back to Morroco, and even though I had my army there it could not do nothing.

Do add giant insult to injury, I had a truce with Morroco and could not declare war without losing 5 stability!!!

This makes no sense! It should either give me just cause to break the truce, or give me a chance to crush the rebels before they join Morroco.

Can you be more precise about the situation you found yourself in? It's hard to identify what went wrong without more details.

Well I was playing as Portugal and took Casablanca from Marroco in a peace settlement after having beaten them thoroughly. I started turning Casablanca into a Core and after a while, it rebeled and instantly became a Morroco province.

I was still in the truce resulting from the war with morroco and could not declare war without a harsh stability hit. This makes no sense.

Didn't this happen to anyone else?

Were you in a war against France with England at the time? I think the English let them revert in the peace deal. I believe that is what happened to me. It really should default to a popup instead of log entry on the end of a war you are in.

Well, we've got half a dozen threads or so from people who played Portugal in the demo, accepted a call to arms from their allies to fight France and forgot all about it, who were then surprised when sometime later their alliance lost and France imposed a peace treaty on the enemy alliance that Portugal is part of in which France took advantage of the situation to harm its enemies by returning Portuguese owned provinces that Morrocco had a core on to Morocco.

So at a guess, this is exactly what happened to you.

If you want to avoid that, make sure to OPT-OUT of allowing the alliance leader to use your land as bargaining chips at the peace table. This can be done in the war summary screen.

If you did not join the French-English struggle, then I have no idea.

This happened to me more then once, and I'm not sure, but you are probably right, since I was most of the time In a war with france because of England. I did not know about the OPT OUT option. THANKS a MILLION!
