Destroying the Fatimids as kingdom of France. Once I won the Crusade, and the Caliph was weak, I simply ignored all truces and invaded the kingdom of Egypt for its duchies left and right. Twenty years later, the Fatimid kingdom was a bad memory. I wish there was an option to butcher all the Fatimids and sow salt in their lands!

Matri-marrying one of my random 5th or 6th daughters to some courtier in a minor province controlled by Scotland, check around 50 years later, her descendants are kings of Scotland and give my dynasty a strong alliance. Didn't interfere, so I didn't really have anything to do with it, but still made me proud of my kids.

I think my proudest moment was when I started the game as the Duke of Brittany. I married Adelais de Ponthieu and then I realized that one of my daughters had the genius trait. I did have an elective monarchy and I was focusing on conquering Ireland. I also noticed that the King of England, William the Conqueror did defeat Norwegians and at the same time France was split between France and Aquitaine. Also, I noticed that William did have a bastard son.

Time passes and my daughter reaches age of 16 years. She got the grey eminence trait and her diplomacy value is 30. At this point, I have submitted to the England and I arrange matrilineral marriage between my daughter and William´s bastard son. At the same time, I continue expanding in Ireland and I conquer numerous counties and create couple of duchies in there. Then the king William and the duke of Britanny both die. Now, my character is the duchess of Brittany and her husband is the bastard of king of England. Then the civil war starts in England. I wait a while and then I start my own campaign to make my husband as a king of England. Ultimately, I won the war and the kingdom of England is ruled by the bastard son of William the Conqueror and his most powerful vassal is his wife, the duchess of Britanny and she also owns almost entire Ireland. In addition to that, they are passionate lovers as well. Their children are the members of my dynasty so in practice I got England through bedchamber. ;)

This is a screenshot about her:

I guess she is dream wife for any nobleman in a feudal society.

That's pretty nice. You had a pretty good string of luck there.

Thanks my good string of luck continued through the 13th century. It is now year 1295.

What has happened since becoming Emperor is this:

Gave away (Portugal, Leon, Andalusia and Aragon) as vassal Kingdoms. Held onto Castille.
Kingdom of Brittany was independent and for some reason I could invite the heir (who's single) to my Kingdom. I did and matrilineally married him to a Jimena.
A few years passed and I pressed a claim for the son and Brittany became a vassal Kingdom.
During this time, I followed the same strategy with Lotharingia but it was a vassal to HRE. I just wanted a Jimena on the throne. Fine.
Years down the track one of my sons married a daughter of the Lotharingian King and she had a claim on Bavaria. Pressed that as HRE was fragmented that moment and Bavaria became vassal Kingdom with her as Queen.
Meanwhile, Golden Horde was expanding as far as Vienna. Pope called for crusade against Hungary. Won and became King of Hungary.
During that time again I followed the marriage strategy to place a Jimena on the throne of Poland and it is also a vassal.

So many Kingdoms gained through careful manipulation of marriages.

Proudest moment was like an hour ago for me!...

...Managed to get to 1453 A.D., concluding, thus, the game for the very first time! I started out as a GAL-King in 1100 A.D., and managed in the end (and after the reign of 14 Kings overall) to unify most of Spain, Morocco (and some of the regions south of it), Algeria, and even snatch Lyon from the French. Leading 60k+ retinues (and around 150k armies overall), I managed to score an awesome 69.147 pts!!!:cool:

My proudest moment to date was breaking up the damnable Fatimids with a series of well-placed assassinations. Five dead sultans and heirs later, the entire middle-east is now a jigsaw puzzle of Muslim duchies. Time to ready the armies for a holy.

Somehow as the Earl of Dublin getting my Daughters Marti-Married Son (a 5th or 6 son of William the Bastars) on the Throne of English during a succession war.
Nice to see my Dynasty on the English throne as I still struggle to even unite a Duchy on Ireland

Proudest moment ? When I see my dynasty tree at the end of the game ;) When I see many kingdoms or Duke titles that belonged to my family through years and really high score of dynasty. Oh yes, I am always proud of them :D

(And every single county on the map was orthodox, also. But there was still a hateful catholic Pope in my court, in Rome.)

And, in that same game, see one on my vassals dukes in Persia push back the Timurids nearly single-handedly.

Managing to Create, lose and regain the Kingdom of Sicily within three generations, starting with a lowly count.

1st generation:
My initial ruler went from count to duke.

2nd generation:
His son in turn had some major luck when he managed to snag enough counties in Sicily and have defectors from his former liege join him. This enabled him to create the kingdom of Sicily. Shortly after a Jihad was called tho. I lost the war and my king was killed in the last battle. The entire kingdom was annexed.

3rd generation:
An earlier mistake on my part, when my grandfather (1st generation) pressed a duchy claim on behalf of his wife played in my favour. Since the grandfather was a mere duke himself, his wife gained independence and she refused to join the kingdom for whatever reason. However, I owned one of those counties since before the claim and it enabled me to keep playing as the would-be-king-heir-now-reduced-to-a-lowly-count-subordinated-to-his-grandmother. Yes, the old crone was still alive and kicking.

About twenty years later the pope had a bastard son. I made sure to marry him in to family, securing an alliance with the big boss himself. With twenty years worth of money, bitterness and some pretty strong allies I reclaimed the crown with a vengeance. The crown did not skip a generation and the prestige gained from going directly to king from count was awesome. My king was pretty much a living legend for the rest of his life.

Early in my game as Andalusia I fought France, the war looked grim but I managed to hold out, and then I actually captured the French king in battle! White peace was signed, and I kept the young king of France (and the heir to the English throne) in my prison for two or three decades. I eventually got tired of his sight and chopped his head off, and a tremendous French civil war ensure. I grabbed what ever province I could get my hands on and soon all of France was under my rule.
