Protostant theocracy

I'm thinking of doing a game where I play as a colony in New England, and after independence I become a theocracy, a puritan inspired game.

Any ideas of what I should do?

You should go for Reformed then, not Protestant.

Other than the requirements for the decision to form a Theocratic government, I have no suggestions.

Other than the slight Clergy influence gain, which in turn can give you more Fervor, no there is no such gain.

He probably mentioned Reformed because that was what the Puritans were.
