Protestant Centers Of Reformation are Not Spawning

I have noticed that others have logged this issue. Wasting a bunch of time linking my steam account. Seemed to have completed the link but no access to log a problem report. Why so many hoops to jump through to communicate a simple problem? Long time EU4 player here. Many hours and dollars invested into a current game. It really sucks that the Centers of Reformation are not WAD after many hours of play for my British Empire. For those empowered by Paradox to see the problem report section, could you please provide insight as to this will be resolved? I'm not really interested in investing more time in gaining access to log problems.

Did you sync your games as well?

Edit: There is a drop down tab in the top right part of the screen where you see your user name. You want to select 'Owned Items'. That should bring you to the menu where you can sync your games, which gives you access to more than just the ability to report bugs. There is also a modding forum and suggestions.

Again, I am not interested in jumping through additional any hoops just to log a problem. The broken Centers of Reformation is vexing enough. When will the Centers of Reformation bug be fixed???

I've got 763 hours of EU4 Game Time. I am very familiar with how they have worked in the past. Unless they have recently changed the mechanics, they are not working in my game (at least in any way like they used to).

Also, I'm not certain that my vassal Scotland (also protestant) is actively using missionaries to convert it's provinces. I have later save games with almost no progress being made by Scotland.

in my games they appear 1 by 1 in wide time lenghths... in my austria hre game first 1 spawned in moldavia. after 10 years other 2 spawned in hre .
same for reformed but first 1 was at norway

I guess they have changed the mechanics. The way they have worked from me for the past year or so is just like the wiki has described...

Here is what I pulled from the Wiki:

The first three nations to convert to Protestant and the first three to convert to Reformed, in Europe, have a random province designated as a Center of Reformation. These centers of reformation will automatically convert nearby provinces to their religion. Provinces converted by a center of reformation get the −100% religious zeal modifier to missionary strength in that province for 30 years. Missionaries can't work in the same province that is being converted by a center of reformation. Each center of reformation can only convert one province at a time.

A center of reformation is destroyed if its province is converted to another religion.

Did you fiddle with the start date before beginning this particular run? I believe switching the year to 1821 and then back to 1444 causes CoR not to spawn.

I don't believe so. I believe it was a brand new game from one of the standard early start times.

Here you go. I started in Dec 1520 where only Wittenberg is a CoR. Switched to Lubeck and Hesse with console and spawned a CoR in each of them simply by pressing the convert religion to protestant button. By the way, the screen will say whether a CoR will spawn upon conversion or not.

I’ve encountered this issue too.

You should look at registering, though. It’s likely that is the only response you will get from a Paradox Dev. It honestly is fairly simple and shouldn’t take you longer than a couple minutes

The consensus there seems to be that the Reformation has been nerfed, but can still happen. If the community feel that's gone too far please post in the Bug Reports forum.

It has to be a bug. Centers aren’t spawning like they are supposed to. A friend flipped during a multiplayer and did not receive a center despite only two existing (one of which was not represented on the map despite being present and converting provInvestors)

I belive its because 1 of centers was destroyed

In the first two years of spawning? Doubtful. Especially considering the tooltip said she would get one
