Protecting troop transport ships

Hi
Im playing as UK and Im in the middle of war. I want to send reinforcements to North Africa but everything i send gets sunk by italian navy despite my naval superiority. I tried to give my navy different orders or even manually protect the ships but none is workiing

I found the best way was to land at Casablanca and transfer along the coast from there, with short hops up to Sicily or Greece as required.

How do you get your Sealion through the Channel? In my game the divisions are stuck for a few months and then get sunk.
