I'm playing Navarra, and at the beginning of the game I conquered Bordeaux and Lapurdi from England, so I could control the Bordeaux node and have a nice time with colonization.
However, later on, France dow'ed me to get those provinces, but I managed to simply concede defeat out of it (Austria, Castille and Aragon being unable to win the war for me).
Problem is: I cannot send my ships to protect trade in the Bordeaux node anymore because it says I cannot send privateers in nodes in which there are countries to which I lost a war. I do not understand this and it does not seem WAD.
Can anyone explain why it is so? Because to me protecting trade and privateers are 2 separate things...
