Watching the hungry games WWW video, I cannot imagine Germany not participating in the war if suedeten are attacked, this just wont happen.

I would propose a new war rule: "If a country where you have core is attacked you can join the war free of charge - no penalties, no war tension".

Germany doesnt have cores on czechoslovakia tho. Yes, there are german majorities in the sudetenland, but that doesnt mean that germany has cores on it. Germany never owned the sudetenland to begin with, since czechoslovakia was under austria-hungarian controll. Hungary which was, just like austria, butchered really hard after the war has cores on their former territory tho, just like germany has in Posen (poznan) and danizig (gdansk).

Germany doesnt have cores on czechoslovakia tho. Yes, there are german minorities in the sudetenland, but that doesnt mean that germany has cores on it. She certainly did not start with cores on that territory in HOI3. (She gets them later after the Munich chain is complete.)

When people are talking about minorities.

Most stupid think is, that Romania and Yugoslavia would attacked Hungary if Hungary attacked. Between these countries there was Little Entente, in case of Hungarian aggression these 3 states would intervene.

There's no way you can possibly expect them to be able to accurately model every single last detail of the geopolitical landscape in 1936, down to the last state - unless you want them to delay the game another two years for you? With that being the case, it's better for them to be too loose than too restrictive - if it's too loose for you, you can just choose not to invade everyone with Hungary, and if somebody wants to, they can. If it's too tight, though, it accomplishes the same thing for you, but the people who want to invade others then have no way to. Better to go the way where you can just choose not to take advantage of liberties - the AI will follow historical route if you want, so you don't really have anything to complain about.

This seems relevant:

I'm not sure if Daniel mentioned it and I couldnt watch stream today but the AI currently has some issues with stopping that particular way Daniel declares wars and expands. We will be reworking that before release so AI will step up and place guarantees to stop early expansions in a similar way it does to germany doing this. It has to do with generated tension by that particular nation and the fact that he can declare war on anyone with zero time delay, leaving no real time for AI to step in. The way tension works the allies can not simply declare war until its higher, they have to guarantee nations first and this leaves no room for that.

Theoretically, I believe this is addressing your concerns...
