Ottoman Empire Events
I. The New Navy
In 1914, the main concern of the Turkish Navy was maintaining a balance of power with the Greeks with whom relations were very tense. Both countries were attempting to enlarge their navies and Turkish orders included two British dreadnoughts, two scout cruisers and four destroyers. These ships were never delivered. In fact the non-delivery of the two completed dreadnoughts did much to bring Turkey into the war on Germany’s side in October 1914.
A. Align ourselves with Germany. (+100 Relation to Germany and Austria-Hungary) [Triggers the German Navy event]

B. Refuse the German offer. (-50 relation to Germany and Austria-Hungary).

III. The Decision has Come.

A. Join the Central Powers. (Alliance with Germany and Austria-Hungary. War with United Kingdom, France, Russia.) [Triggers the German Navy Command event]
B. Join the Triple Entene. (Alliance with United Kingdom, France, Russia. War with Germany, Austria-Hungary.) [De-triggers the Germany Navy Command event]

IV. The German Navy Command.
With our joining of the Central Powers, numerous amounts of German generals and admirals came to command our armed forces.
A. Accept German leadership. (Add Admiral Wilhelm Souchon to Ottoman Admiral Selection)
B. Refuse German leadership.

Just some events that I believed should possibly be added intot he game.

Additional proposal to 1914 Events.

B. Not good enough! (Declare war on Belgium).

II. The Belgian Response -- Bad.
On August 4th, 1914, the Belgians delivered a response along with an ultimatum from the British. The ultimatum requested German forces to withdraw from the nation of Belgium.

II. The Belgian Reponse -- Bad
On August 4th, 1914, the Belgians delivered a response along with an ultimatum from the British. The ultimatum requested German forces to withdraw from the nation of Belgim. However, Germany has refused to withdraw from Belgium.
A. Call to arms! (Belgium and United Kingdom declare war on Germany. Belgium joins the Allied powers, along with the United Kingdom.)
B. We're doomed! Let them have what they want! (Belgium grants military access to Germany.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
These proposed events require the United Kingdom not to be in the Alliance with France and Russia. One of the main reasons the UK went to war with Germany was for the violation of Belgian neutrality. I have added an option for UK to help France, incase Germany is granted military access by Belgium.

Discuss the events, and have fun.

The Ultimatum to Serbia event should have three choices:
A - Make sure Germany supports us, then deliver an ultimatum
B - Deliver an ultimatum immediately
C - Back down
Obviously C might not be an option. The importance of this, though, as I see it, was that the death of Franz and the ultimatum were something like a month apart, and the Great Powers considered that the time for action had passed. If Austria had pressed home with an ultimatum immediately, it is entirely possible that they, rather than the Serbs, would have gotten support internationally. Therefore, B should trigger an event for Serbia in which Serbia declares war on Austria. If A is selected, however, then after an offset a series of events fire culminating with Austria declaring war on Serbia, and thus activating Serbia's defensive alliance/guarantee of independence with Russia.

The choices here should probably be reversed - the UK got involved in the war on behalf of Belgium, not France. I've heard an anecdote that the British Parliament was discussing the war, and was about to vote for neutrality, when news came that Germany had unlawfully violated Belgium's borders, and thus the UK delivered their ultimatum.

II. The Ultimatum.
A. Accept all the demands.
1. Grants military access to Austria-Hungary.(If I remember correctly part of the ultimatum was for Austria to have nearly full control over Serbia, it's forces and peoples and everything pretty much. So on top of access it would also give them to Austria as a sattellite.)

Just a suggestion, maybe someone's noted this.

I've already got some nice ideas for events for Holland:

- Sinking of Dutch Merchant Marine (multiple events)
During the war many dutch merchant vessels we're sunk by either allied or german ships or seamines. It was in fact a very costly affair for Holland.

- Universal Suffrage which was granted in 1918

- Troelstra's failed revolution
Social-democrat Troelstra called for a socialist revolution, which failed miserably. Troelstra's speech leads to massive pro-Monarchy meetings. Afterwards Troelstra admits his fault, but his social-democratic party becomes a third party for the following years.
Multiple effects, not yet sure which ones..

- Allied pressure on Holland to choose sides and Britain vouches to support Belgian claims on southern netherlands.
Drop in relations with England (-50), Belgian and France (both -25)

- German troops accidently crossing the border (in 1918)
a) cover it up (as happened historically)
b) demand an explanation/apology
c) panic and join Allies

- Army revolt of 1918
+1 mil for soldiers

There's more to come surely ;)
