Proposal/petition for Paradox to examine the possibility of creating a new game, to be potentially called "Liberté, égalité, fraternité" or LEF for short. The title should be displayed in such a way that the word "Liberté" appears much larger, and above the other 2, and the cover should have a picture clearly associated with the US Revolution, in the style of "Liberty"

September 14th 1752 (date the UK adopted the Gregorian calendar) or, January 1st 1753, the first New Years after this, and, also happens to be the minimum date possible in an SQL server.

EU IV, when the next expansion comes out, would now end on that date.

The currency would be the Maria Theresa thaler

Would cover the following events:

The French-Indian wars (Start point)
Seven Years War (DLC3: Start point)
Russo Turkish war
Partitions of Poland
US War of Independence (Start point)
US becomes Independent (DLC3: Start point)
French Revolution (DLC2: Start point)
Napoleon as First Consul (DLC2: Start point)
Emperor Napoleon (Start point)
South American Independence
War of 1812
Bourbon Restoration (DLC4: Start point)
100 Days (DLC4: Start point)
Concert of Europe (DLC1: Start point)
Greek war of Independence (DLC5: Start point)
Belgian Revolution (DLC5: Start point)

The game would end on June 20th, 1837, with the crowning of Queen Victoria.

Victoria II, when the next expansion comes out, or, Victoria III, would now begin on this date.

Paradox would also begin examining the possibility of a converter from EU IV to the new game to Victoria II/III and examine changing the start/end dates of those two other games, as to make a converter with CK II/III and HoI III/IV. Also, to examine the fiscal possibility of selling all these games in a pack, with a free converter, for 10% off.

Why?
The US Rev and the Napoleonic era are both large enough and important enough to deserve more than being shuffled to the near-end of the EU series. Both are interesting enough to attract their own playerbase, and, with more of a focus, a single game could take in both of these wars, and bridge the gap between EU and Victoria. If successful, further efforts could be made for games set during other time periods, such as in between EU and CK* and between Victoria and HoI**

See spoiler for more details and ideas
* = No game is needed here I don't think, just some re-jigging of start end end dates

** = A game encompassing the Balkan wars though to the start of WW2, with an increasing focus on economics over the military after the great war, might be good.

In addition, having such a refined and complete game spanning this distance, hopefully would spur Paradox to create a game spanning the cold war, and another going back to the explosion of Islam out of Arabia. This could be followed by a game covering the modern world, and another covering the dark ages, before games that'd cover the Roman Empire, and Ancient Greece, and lastly (sometime in 2030 probably) a game that focuses on early Egypt and Babylon, etc.

If all of that is successful, then within the next decade, hopefully, paradox could use whatever new technology is invented so that by 2040 you could play a game right from 5000BC to the current (now future) date.

Also, for legal whatever, I give Paradox permission to use this idea to make a profit, and free to them the idea, without any claim on it (money, credit, etc) whatsoever. While I'd like a free copy of such a game if they develop it due to my idea, I'd even be willing to forgo that just to know it's in development somewhere.

I, for one, would like to see a game (or at least an expansion of some sorts) which cover that time period. I do understand that MotE is out, but that is "just" a wargame, while this one would hopefully cover all aspects of the era.

If EU:4 does end in 1753 then it might indeed be because this game was planned. The EU series has always been better at the first half of the period it covered than the later one, so this potentially is a good thing.

With the Belgian revolt was missing from Vicky 2 that could be another hint that the time slot might be reserved for this game.

Then again, just because there's a gap doesn't mean that there'll be a new game. The dark ages gap for one has never been filled and it could also be left open for DLC expansions.

I think these unsolicited proposed games are legal minefields for companies.

That said, I very much doubt they haven't consider covering this exact time frame, probably with expansions for EU4 or Victoria 2.

I'm willing to sign whatever they want to present me with if it means getting to play the game.

The only thing I actually want out of it is the game for free, but, if I can't get that, I'll settle for just getting the game made.
