Promoting AoD?

From what I can tell scanning the other PI forums and poking around strategy gaming type sites AoD is totally unknown. I haven't seen any adds or heard any talk about the product and I am concerned that it will simply languish in obsurity. I spent several minutes in the HoI3 forum and from I saw almost no one knows about it there.

This I think is a real pity since not only has HoI3 been a major disappointment but I am sure that anyone into PI products would be willing to buy AoD if they knew about it.

Anyhow, if I am wrong about this then i'd be delighted to be set straight.

Oh, does anyone know if HoI2 modding tools will work with AoD?

you could say hearts of iron 2.5, Version: Reliable and tested. that way it doesnt give the sense that it the new version of hearts of iron 3, just a new reliable version of the series thats relativly bug free

i would say stating negative stuff about hoi3 will not be viewed favourably

Anyone who wants to promote the game should simply add it to his signature. That takes two minutes tops.

If you want to do more, talk about it to everyone, everywhere. That's a quite powerful tool.

cant confirm this, everybody knows about AoD IMO, but theres not much to talk about now, just waiting.

Considering AoD is currently ranked #3 in sales on GamersGates toplist and not even released yet (competing with games that can be played right away). Its only beaten by a game with 75% off price and HTTT.

I would say its better known then you might think!

I suspect the top list is not overall, but most sold this week or day or so.

(Pretty simple actually HTTT can never sell better than IN, since both are digitally sold only and you need IN for HTTT).

IN can also be bought on a CD, in the EU3 Complete version.
