HoI3 introduced magical provinces that healed themselves without drawing on IC, and magical bonus provinces that gave some global effect. Will these Harry Potter features be eliminated in HoI4 or will it go full Hogworts?

This reflects a serious lack of imagination and really diminishes the game. Keeping IC as a key resource that underlays all activity is central to the operational concept of the game.

Between HoI2 AoD and HoI3 the production queue was really dumbed down to the point that I wasn't certain what model of thing was being produced. The AoD production queue had a lot of useful features, including the ability to add shifts to speed things up and the ability to expand or contract production runs.

The research teams were great, now (hoi3) is just generic. Hopefully the teams will return in HoI4.

In terms of production queues, it would be nice for the user to be able to create 'priorities', areas where projects would circulate when finished in stead of dropping to the bottom of the queue. Well, in hoi3 the production queue was static but the research queue was a pain to manage because valued research would simply drop to the bottom.

Stuff that gets destroyed or damaged needs to be repaired by civilian factories.

Research Teams are back in the form of companies, which are meant to design the equipment you research and add unique permanent bonsues and penalties to that equipment when the research is finished. All companies can produce that equipment then, but dont alter the stats again. An Henschel designed PzIV stays Henschel, even if Porsche builds it.

In HoI IV there are no more research queues and you have up to 2-4 research slots depending on your nation with maybe 1 or 2 additional ones that can be unlocked.

Production works alot different aswell, since they use production lines now instead of queuing the same thing 50 times. You then assign up to 15 factories to that production line and it will spill out x equipment per year/month/week/day depending on the time it takes to produce.

I'm just hoping that Harry Potter dies with HoI3. HoI innovated some very valuable concepts for games that have not been fully exploited, in fact regressed upon.
