Well there are differences in style and quality between the Darkest hour map and the Hearts of iron 2 map. I think the DH map looks more like a real map while the hoi one is more cartoonish.
 
So is Humanity more advance in Tech compare to the Aliens ? And btw are the Human task forces specialized ? For example Taurus is good at tank warfare ,Aries is good in Air warfare etc ...

This Mod will be awesome and i bet you get the mod of the mouth when it is finish

Each side will be getting it's own differences in starting loadout, but there won't be any hard coded bonii (though doctrine might develop)

I think one of the Human places should be called New Jerusalem. Kinda a new-ancient mix.
 
Please put a hyphen between any "Neu" and "X" city name. "Neu-Basel", "Neu-Laibach", etc.
 
Mountain ranges should go to some famous mountaineers or world leaders in my head.

Like:
George V range
Victorian mountains
Mount Wilhelm (giggity)
Bismark Range
Sir Edmund Hilary Range (1st man to climb Everest)
Tenzig Norgay Range (on Edmund Hilary's team, 2nd man on Everest)

Maybe for sea provinces/deserts/jungles, famous explorers?
