That's... slightly outside the timeframe. The Kingdom of Hanover was lost by the United Kingdom when Victoria took the throne because of Salic law.
In other news, the Pope is scary. He's an maimed possessed lunatic.

cybr is correct. The same Pope is still on the throne, now 342 years old.Wow, that's one epic papal state. What's up with Africa in the Balkans? And do I see a Bulgarian neo-Byzantium and free Carinthia?
Hanover is indeed outside the timeline by a few hundred years, but I think it shows the importance of the crown laws even then if they were willing to lose the territory and title instead of just handwaving the law.
I've got it set up so you can't forge claims on provinces of other religions unless they're islands or you border them. Helps cut down on silly expansion. I'm not sure why your only option was to not push the claim though.Holy Pope!! I'm watching Borgia right now. Your Hautville Pope puts him to shame.
I'm playing as Gotland. My own brother offed me and now we've lost the Grand Mayorship. The bastard. Anyway when I click on my chancellor to fabricate claims, many counties are blacked out. It looks like I can only fabricate claim on catholic realms. Except for Suomi and Aland. I put him on Suomi, but when the event clicked for me to make the claim, I only had the option to not use it and get 10 piety.
I don't seem to remember this in Vanilla, although it's been while since I've played it. Is this PB or SWMH? I checked both descriptions, but couldn't find any reference to it.
Also I remember in Vanilla being able to attack another merchant family in the same republic to take their tradeposts when you weren't Grand Mayor. What are the changes with regards to cb's and trade posts?
I'll look into it. Thanks for reporting.I'm seeing a bug where the Duke of Puglia's war for Epirus auto-peaces on day 2 in 1066. It says the casus-belli is no longer valid. I'm running the newest versions of PB, SWMH and VIET.
Wait, they can do that?Didn't check to see if it was in base SWMH but should Occitans really be able to build both French and Spanish cultural buildings? Seems a bit "unbalanced".Especially since a few cultures don't get any.
Bulgaria isn't actually lumped in with England; I was silly when I made the map and somehow reused yellow for two different tiers. IIRC, Bulgaria is tier 2, right after the ERE proper.Light Blue -> Dark Blue gets you the 5 Patriarchs (Constantinople, Antioch, Jerusalem, Alexandria & Rome) so you can mend the schism. I am also confused as to why Bulgaria is lumped with the HRE & England.
Maybe holding all of Byzantium (light blue) unlocks Dark Blue, Green & Yellow simultaneously?
Another (semi-related) question. Why is Coptic a heresy of the Miaphysite religion? Isn't the Patriarch of Alexandria the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria in the modern day? From what I can gather on Wikipedia, Coptic was the language used in Egypt by the Christians whom themselves were known as Copts. I'm probably completely wrong as history (and religion) aren't exactly my strong points but I don't see how you can be classified as a heresy simply by practicing your religion in the place you live using the language you speak.
Yep, that's the order.
Most likely. Something to do with republics as far as I know, so your best bet for avoiding them is playing Shattered Balance with merchant republics destroyedI'm getting a CTD some date around June 1230. Is this the infamous 1.092 instability I've been hearing about?![]()
If you're using VIET some changes in PB will be overridden by it, yeah. I believe Cybr is releasing a new version soon though.I'm still seeing old trait values and old holy war, but the numbers in the PB files are correct. Am I basically waiting on VIET to release an update incorporating these changes?
(Though that's actually a good thing, because all of Spain got over-run and I want to put some of those countries back)
Which is why the eastern bits aren't included. Though I might move it over to tier 2 instead, I suppose.I'm not a fan of the reconquest tiers, mostly because Armenia wasn't exactly a long-term holding.
Most likely a vanilla issue, as I don't make any real changes to those CBs.As the Doge of Zena I won a war against Pisa to seize the trade post in the cape of Corsica. After the war was over I started disbanding my armies, then I looked and the trade post just disappeared. No events or anything explaining why. PB+SWMH.
Yeah, that's why. It isn't possible to hold a tradepost in another republic's territory.Thinking about it now it may have been because the trade post was in their territory.
That's vanilla; 1 is the base while 4 is the minimum. Not entirely sure why Paradox did it like that.Another thing about my play through. Starting out you can have a max of 4 TPs, so I upgraded my palace to get the +3 bonus. I still could only have 4 and the tooltip showed a base of 1, + 3 from palace and 0 from family. Shouldn't the base palace building give the +3 and the second level give you more?
Not too sure how to balance it currently.Mind doing a little touch up? haha
If they were in files actually included in PB, I'd fix themSomething I found while browsing the bugs forum which you may want to implement Meneth (assuming you haven't fixed it already with your hawk like gaze) -> http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?682014-Bad-logic-in-event-86160
EDIT: another one -> http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...correct-scoping-in-quot-Ask-Again-quot-events
What's Sadaqah?Shiite as a heresy cannot give Sadaqah. Is this WAD?
Yeah, they're probably a bit OP currently. I'll disable the warrior cult buildings and the free piety event (hmm... might actually remove that entirely, not sure they need it any more).Pagans in PB + Shattered Balance seem overpowered in the early game due to their warrior cults and holy orders. I removed both and it seems to have evened the odds somewhat. Other than that, I'm very much enjoying Shattered Balance; it's by far the best 'everyone is a 1 province count' mod out there.
Looks like it works for me. The Court Chaplain mossion, right?A Muslim act of charity described in the Koran. Yet, Shiite, as a heresy, cannot choose this decision.
Oh, I thought you meant the special mission Muslim Court Chaplains get. I'll get that fixed.
Yep, 98% or so of all PB CTDs are caused by 1.092.The log is in C:\Users\Michael\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\logs. Your name instead of mine, of course
I've had a few games crash using all different configurations. Lately I've had a few games just freeze. It doesn't CTD, but I have to use ctrl alt delete to shut it down. There is nothing in the log. Does this have to do with crashing problems we're all waiting for Paradox to fix?
