Breton is a culture of Celtic origins; having it being able to form Francia would make little sense, and as it is not on the British Isles, letting them form Britannia wouldn't make much sense either.
That's a good point. I'll lets Bretons create it.the land of Brittany is not on the Isles but a Breton person ruling and creating Britannia at least, imho, makes just as much - if not, even, more - sense as anyone else making Britannia, seeing as their name is derived from Britannia, the very land from whence they came.

Or, think of it this way: a Breton duke creates the Kingdom of Brittany, perhaps by uniting Brittany with a Welsh duchy. Then by whatever means conquers/inherits England, Scotland, and Ireland as well.... and at this point it makes sense that he couldn't make himself King/High King/Emperor of Britannia?
The AI obeys the same rules, yes.Does the AI suffer the same handicaps as the player? Because in my game as a duke in Britain, King Harold somehow magically increased crow law to High even though there was 2-3 people in the kingdom with at least -30 opinion of him. Doesn't this break the rule in the mod?
From what I understand, Culture Spread is apparently acting strange in the last patch. It's a bit over my head, but perhaps it affects Balansegang?I am not sure how culture spreading through ports is supposed to work. I am playing as the king of Denmark, and I have conquered England with an invasion CB, but despite making all the dukes danish, no county ever became danish.
Thanks. That's a good point. I'll lets Bretons create it.
Sounds like it is probably a vanilla bug.I don't understand what is wrong with my game. I start off in 1066 and King William the Conqueror gains the kingdom of England. In all of my games he increases crown authority to high the INSTANT he wins the war. Even though he has 2 dukes that hate him (almost -80 opinion) he manages to pass the crown law. The mod seems properly installed because all of the features are present in the game. I even reinstalled the mod again to be sure.
It should happen eventually. I'll ensure it is still working.I am not sure how culture spreading through ports is supposed to work. I am playing as the king of Denmark, and I have conquered England with an invasion CB, but despite making all the dukes danish, no county ever became danish.
Might be a good idea; I might implement something like it eventually.I am not good at English, But I have a sugestion.
In my game if AI takes decadence Invasion, that did'nt take the empire apart. Just Dynasty changed.
Maybe we tweak decadence CB as new dynasty only take the highest title, its de jure Kingdom, and indepedent vassals' claims. Old dynasty take strong claim on old title.
Non de jure vassals become independent, it prohibits Muslim empire super-expension.
Pagans are in general not intended to expand, and no changes have been made to make them interesting to play. They're only enabled in case someone really wants to play them.I've been enjoying Balansegang since I found it in 1.05.
I decided to try out a game as Erik the Heathen to check out the stronger pagans in this mod after giving it a brief go in vanilla. It looks like pagans don't have either the single county invasion for 50 piety or the ability to declare holy wars. Given that it's much harder to marry into claims due to the infidel malus, I'm finding it pretty frustrating. Is this WAD? Or am I missing something?

The problem is achieving a good balance. Historically they hardly expanded at all, and this is the path I want them to generally follow.Hey Meneth...Ι'm really enjoying my current game as Danish...but is it possible for you and good for the game also to make the pagans expand just a little...??? just to make them a bigger threat for the player...I believe this would be really cool...What do you think???

That's fair. I'll look at some other mods which make them playable and see if I like any. They are certainly sticking around longer when I'm not playing them, which is nice.Pagans are in general not intended to expand, and no changes have been made to make them interesting to play. Giving them a single province CB with a cooldown might not be bad. That should keep them from expanding too far.The problem is achieving a good balance. Historically they hardly expanded at all, and this is the path I want them to generally follow.
I have to say, of all the overhaul mods I like this one the most. It's the least intrusive, I feel. Keep up the good work!
