@Fishman: you have to change the settings file to disable the trees. So no I can not turn them off in the options. The mod overworte the change in the settings. I thought maybe one of you knew how to disable the trees in this mod.

and no: trees are not nice. trees are evil.
Do it in-game with PB enabled and it should take.
Alternatively do it in the PB setting file, which should be in My Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\Balansegang.

I was always a fan of calling the Byzzies the "Greek Realm" or Empire, and same with the HRE (German Realm/Empire).

As far as I know, Catholic Europe liked to refer to them as the Greek Empire, only themselves and the Muslim nations called them Rome consistently. Same thing to the Germans, really (didn't even adopt "Holy" as a part of their name until a ways into the game's time frame, just called themselves the Roman Empire like the Greeks did). Seemed like a historically okay compromise, and lets the Byzzies enforce their title on the world in that fun way they can.

I agree with the above post that Byzantium was the Roman Empire until it was destroyed(by greedy heretical and/or cultic Roman Catholics, of which no true christian would be a part of) btw 1 thing in this game anoys me, Roman Catholicism is what is spreading, not catholicism. I've gone off topic.

On the mod matter, dungeons and sieges mod seems to be working, as is BLC, as is armoiries arko pack, but I'll test them more thoroughly.

Hey guys, does this mod actually stops republics, HRE, ERE and Fatimids for being so strong and blobbing? Thats the main reason im thinking about switching from vanilia :)

Republics? Not yet, aside from the coast-stealing thing. The others? Definitely. I refuse to play the vanilla game, the balance on this mod is just so much better. I haven't ever seen a Fatimid invasion of Greece (well, Epirus, since there isn't Greece in this) in PB.

It doesn't do much to republics yet (though it does slow down the coastal conquest CBs some), but it definitely slows down the other three a lot, yes.

BLC is incompatible due to changing various character files that PB also changes.

In my opinions the Republic slowing is quite enough at this level. It's not crippling, nor is it gamey and abusable.

And I run this with the Republic of Iceland mod in maximal efficiency. And VIET, of course.

I'll be running more test games before I do anything drastic to republics. I might increase the cost of making trade posts a little though, as republics grow their trade network a bit fast right now.
Adding the Icelandic Republic next patch, so that should help prevent Gotland from absolutely dominating. Might be adding a Hamburg Republic or similar as well; I think some guy was making a mini-mod like that.

Great, thx a lot I will try it now then :) ONe more thing - in downloable contents of mod there are vanilla demesne laws for download. Does it mean:

1. Mod changes demesne laws so that if I want to play the CK2 with this mod without new demesne laws I need to use this file to change it?
2. Mod changes demesne laws so that even if I want to play normal vanilla CK2 i need to use this file to change them back to vanilla?
