It's all up on the beta branch already.
Also added the icon for mending the schism to the Catholic version. Not 100% fitting, but better than no icon.

For question marks, there are a couple in gfx/interface/charaction_sub_diplomacy_big.dds, unfortunately they are on top of other things so it might be a bit to isolate them.
Yeah, not workable. I can probably use that one with the crowns and the question mark as dejure transfer though.

A guy made me a questionmark for the "is war possible?" decision.

Might be able to use your icon for something else though.

I think I've encountered a bug. I can't declare holy war on any of my muslim neighbors, whether as the late 2000 piety Uberking or the new 50 piety babyking. Also, I'm unable to fabricate claims on Venice, despite owning every province around it. How are you supposed to conquer them if there's never a valid Casus Belli?
You can't fabricate claims on the capitals of merchant republics.
You can push dejure claims though, so you'd have to become emperor of Italy.

As to holy war, check the "is war possible" decisions.

If you look at gfx/interface/muslim_interface/alerticons.dds and gfx/interface/pagan_interface/alerticons.dds you can see some of the popup buttons they have. Might be a bit too big, and most probably won't work, but I thought I'd throw that out there in case something catches your eye.
Can't see anything that fits the remaining icons:

For the last two, if you're fine with generic military stuff, there's job_advance_mil_tech.dds (if you remove the plus sign), job_assist_arrest.dds (the best one I think), and job_train_troops.dds.
That fist works well for subjugation, thanks.

A quick question:
My ruler is a Cynical Orthodox and another allied ruler is a Zealous Catholic so why he has the Zealous -50 trait along with the normal zealous vs cynical -20???

It's because you're a different religion. Zealous characters really don't like people like that.
I was trying to set up a Shattered Balance game, and after a few tries I realized that the customization options beyond the first "enable special CBs?" one don't fire when I use the ruler designer. This is a fairly big problem because merchant republics already blob everywhere when there are other king-level entities around. I'm sure it's the ruler designer because the merchant republic option window always opens up when I select an existing ruler, but never when I design a ruler. Is there a way to circumvent this, like maybe triggering them through the console?

The final option ("make all counties feudal?") also doesn't seem to work, as I still see lord mayors and prince-bishops around. Does it take a few days unpaused for it to happen?
Yeah, the ruler designer thing is a known issue, but sadly I don't really know how to fix it. You could look up the event IDs in the Shattered Balance event file and call them from there.
Counties without any castles can't be made feudal, but everything else should. It can take a couple days to apply though.

I'm still missing an icon for the "bring family out of hiding" decision though. Ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Meneth.

I've finally gotten to try your mod and quite frankly - it is grand. Thanks for making it.

However I do have a question regarding trooptypes. Along the way Paradox rebalanced troop stats making some very significant changes there, yet your mod either doesn't support them or keeps them unchanged.

Biggest difference is with ligth cavalry obviously - in your mod (and in first versions of vanilla) light cav was basically light infantry on ponies - wrecking havoc in pursue phase, but being useless in pretty much everything else. Right now in vanilla their melee attack is 4.5 as opposed to 3 which makes them quite a lot more useful as unit.
So - did you decide to keep the stats from earlier versions as it suited your mod more, or did you not care all that much?

I have a few suggestions.

Regarding Russia I Think you should remove the artificial kindoms of Novgorod and Kiev and just have one russian kingdom. The present configuration blocks the soutward expansion in all my tests. The viking state around Novgorod expanded fast to the south and the capital were moved to Kiev. Se the wikipedia Russia and Varngians.

Regarding Norse religion there in no known case of a conversion to the norse religion on the contrary the colonizing norse quickly adapted to the local religion, for example in England and France. Christianity had substantial advantages based on for example better administrative skills and higher knowledge. The transformation of the norse kingdoms in Scandinavia and Russia were thus highly rational when the Contacts grew between the norse and the christian states.
To my knowledge the Novgorod-Kiev split makes more historical sense for the most part. SWMH splitting things up even further solidifies this idea.
Pagans get a significant penalty to religious conversion, yes.
Love the new decision icons, gives a more "finished" look to the whole tab!

The thing is that he's a zealot, so he really cares about those small differences. I'd make it a bit less severe for same religion group if I could, but I'm afraid I can't.

Which icon is put them into hiding though? Maybe just that one with a red arrow on.
Could work as a placeholder at the very least.
There's no icon to put them into hiding as that's handled by event when your capital is besieged.
