I rarely post, but I'm always disappointed in the game hoi4. I know there's a factor or script that influences AI's decision in unit production. And seeing Japan never ever produce a single Yamato super heavy battleship, I spent some time fiddling with the hoi4 script.
You might say: "Why not use Instant construction and build yamatos at the beginning of the game?"
And yes, I could do that, but i want the game to do it for me. Same goes to the some units that, even though AI has researched it, AI just won't produce them, like in the road to 56 the AI always favor light carriers instead of normal carriers. I know its cheap to produce but its not historically accurate?
Question: Which file; Or where in the script that tells AI to produce what? Which text or factor influence AI?
