UPDATE
After some contemplation and discussion, I think it's ok for me to post this as a zip file. I made 7 different versions - one for every major in the game. These are just for taste, and don't change funcionality.
Important points to mention:
- Equipment requirements are not final, and thus, not known. What requirements I put in are a combination of things I've seen so far in videos and, to be honest, guesswork.
- Army organization is just what I think I might use. If you don't like it, unit names should be changeable, the organization as a whole is not. (well, by me it is)
- Every division template should be used in each year. If you don't need a division type in a certain year or at all, put one in reserve and assign zero battalions to it. If you don't, the excel sheet will produce a div.by0 error and might not display things properly. Yeah, I'm just an excel-noob with too much time on my hands.

If any errors, mistakes, etc. inhibit use of the tool, I can try and fix that.
Apart from that, I am not part of or in any way affiliated with Paradox. If you don't like something, take it out on me, and leave those poor people alone.

Hi peeps! I'm sure everybody has been giving some thought to the new production system and how easy it will be to supply new divisions as well as replace losses in standing divisions.
Now, seeing as i have way too much time on my hands, i actually put some work into making an excel sheet that enables you to plan out your army from 1936 to 1946. It allows allocating divisions to different armies, changing division composition and calculate losses as a yearly percentage. In fact, I have put so much work into it i think it'd be a shame not to share it, should anybody be interested.
The only problem is that I can't upload an excel sheet to this forum, I don't want to break any forum rules and I don't want to get people suspicious about some dude sending out files. Any recommendations as to sharing something like this?
See attached some images of the awefully eyesmacking interface for the US army planning tool. I have thus far also made equally ugly files for France, Italy, Germany, and the Soviet Union.
-edit-
Cons:
- it's ugly (maybe))
- it's huge
- it's fiddly
- it's unwieldy
Pros:
- it works
- it gives you an idea what '7 tanks per week' actually means
- it's pretty (maybe)
- i was bored, so hey
