Greetings:

I just want to know just for immersion purposes if there is any kind of proportions in the units production and money management.

For example, an infantry brigades needs more or less 5.32 units of small arms (muskets, pistols, blades, etc.) and 5.32 units of regular clothes (uniforms) to be recruited. Those could be like 5,320 small arms and 5,320 uniforms in real units?

The same about resources production, if I produce 11.82 units of sugar, those could be 11.82 tons of sugar or something like that?

I belive that there isnt any proportion, but just for roleplaying anybody has his own proportions?

I think that's kind of futile because to some extent Victoria II uses increasing quantities to represent increases in quality.

Increasing military technology increases military supply costs, which includes goods like small arms. Does it make sense to say that each time technology improves and supply costs increase you are issuing each soldier 2x as many rifles? Obviously not. No, the soldier simply received more sophisticated rifles that were more expensive to produce and the game chose to represent this by requiring more small arms rather than introducing a new good.

You could roughly calculate this for consumer goods if you had an estimate of daily household consumption for a good in real units (e.g. average low class household drinks X oz of liquor each day), then just multiply that by 200,000 and divide that by the daily needs.
