probs with cdcp and daim (arm1.2)

Hi everyone, i am having trouble installing both DAIM and the CDCP mod,
here is what i do, clean install of doomsday armageddon, patched to 1.2
then i install cdcp, and afterwards i install daim with its minifix

then i change the entry in 1936.eug and 1938.eug as described in the cdcp thread (in 1936 changed aut to aus and in 1938 czh to cze)

still everytime i start a game i get an error message that just says the scenario file is broken, if i ignore it the game starts and apparently daim installs itself ok after 24 hours

is this error a common problem? is it a real error at all?
can anyone help me? :wacko:

Did you used my installer? Do you install SIP too?
Steps to install CDCP and SIP with DAIM are included with the installer. Here are they:



Installation notes:


1. Install Armageddon + patch 1.2 (checksum VBVL)
2. Install CDCP 0.55 (checksum ALFX)
3. Install SIP 0.03 (checksum YLSX)
(steps 2 and 3 can be combined using my installer)

!!!NOTE for DAIM users!!!
1. Install Armageddon + patch 1.2 (checksum VBVL)
2. Install CDCP 0.55 (checksum ALFX)
3. Install SIP 0.03 (checksum YLSX)
4. Install DAIM without the extra events
5. Edit all scenario files by adding at the end:
include = "scenarios\1936\u00.inc"
6. Delete the folowing line from nationalist_china.txt (event 3819):
command = { type = ai which = "switch/chi_JAP_puppet.ai" }
(steps 2 and 3 can be combined using my installer)

I think its common and linked to daim minifix and cdcp not being fully compatible.

do i need SIP? what does it do?

also to install DAIM without the extra events do i need to manually delete which files? (as i used the zip version)
or is this only possible with the installer?

sounds pretty good (sorry for being so lazy but i am pretty busy atm)

once i am home i will reinstall and test it, i ll let you know if it works (though by following your advice i dont see why it shouldnt)
