Problems with TRP mod Doomsday 0.9!!!

Hi everybody! This is my first post, and I wanted to say how great this game is. I'm (actually) a history professor from Italy (hope my english is correct) and I really like to twist history to see what would have happened if...

Ok, now my BIG problem. The TRP mod seems not to work with me. In fact after the initial video it just crash and says: "Cannot initialise video". Does anybody know what problem it is?
What can I do to make it work? I REALLY would like to try this mod.

p.s. If any of you guys need help with history facts and figures about WWI and II and the Cold War I'm right here

First of all, welcome to the forum!

Have you patched your DD to 1.2 and have you run TRP.bat to replace the old game-files with TRP-files?

By default the game tries to run in window mode. You have two options

Go to the desktop icon and look at properties. Remove the word WINDOWED in the path statement.

OR

Change your video display to 16 bit colors

it early 1940 and i all ready have 2 ss panzer divisions i first got the 3rd totenkopf and one mont orso later the 2nd das reich but stil no liebstandarte ot something, i dont think this is right. the liebstandarte was in 39 allready in combat in polland the dass reich and 2 other brigades where togheter in the ss verfugungs truppe but still not a complete elite 1940 panzer division
