Problems with St. Gallen

I've tried two seperate games as the County of St. Gallen, played till about 1090 or so b4 realizing that my saves were not working. It's odd, in explorer the save files have their proper names, ie. CountyofStGallen_Oct ect... but in the game loading screen the savefile name is truncated to CountyofSt and will not load. I've tried briefly loading other games and saving them with no problems and I'm finding this really vexing as I had a really good inheritance waiting. I've basically lost 5 hours of my life to this bug, forcing me to shelve CK for the day.

Yep, I tried saving just as StGallen but it saved as St and would not load. I can try again and re-name the file in explorer if that's what you meant.

So you suggest re-naming the file in explorer to something more simple, like StGallen in explorer? I will try this when I play later. Odd problem, especially that it's just inflicting it's woes on one county.. so far.

I renamed the file to delete the dot. The file loaded, while it didn't before that.

It's a problem with the filename parser I think, and it's only showing when playing St. Gallen as that is the only playable entity in the game with a dot in the name...
