After patching to 1.11 I have encountered problems with selecting provinces or troops. For example when I click some province it sometimes at random does not register and no province menu comes up, but when clicking other provinces the province menu comes up. Also when selecting troops by clicking or boxing them, it works most of the times, but at other times the troops are not selected.
Never experienced this before, and I have not updated or changed anything of note on my computer so it has to be the patching that caused it it in some way.
I have also tried to reinstall the game, but without any improvement.

switching windows with the built-in exposé triggered by the active corner of GNOME Shell and this doesn't trigger the issue.
[...]
Of course it's still an annoyance because it forces you to:
1. Play in windowed mode.
[...]

If the windowframe annoys you, you can remove it pretty easily with a devilspie script. Install devilspie and save the following as ~/.devilspie/ck2.ds:
Code:
(if
   (is (application_name) "ck2")
   (begin
      (undecorate)
   )
)

You can move the window by alt-dragging it. My shell-bar doesn't bother me, I kind of prefer having my clock visible, and active corner available.
