Problems in the Kingdom of Italy

I have a looming problem. My queen is about to die. She is the Queen Italy, Audasuia, Denmark and the area formally know as France ( destroyed the title). After a successful invasion of France I gained France and about half of Spain. This makes me by far the strongest kingdom in Europe if not the world. to add to this my dead husband was the King of Poland and was matrilinalily married to me. Our son and heir is now the King and has a strong position.

The main problem however is that I am a vassal of the HRE and I want it to stay that way. My Dukes have a tendency not to revolt because of this and it gives me the ability to expand into Bavaria easily. However my Heir is not a a vassal of the HRE and when he takes the throne my kingdoms will quickly revolt because of succession, not being in the HRE, and my son is Polish. normally I would simply ask to become a vassal under the HRE but it is in a civil war and it looks like it will not end for a while.

Please help my kingdom stay together!

Well, what you could do is give up on your Polish plans. Kill your son and his descendants, and you'll have a new heir, problem solved.

how about interfering in the civil war with your army to end it? Also you would need to usurp/form Bavaria before your death, as your son will need a de jure vassal title as his primary to be able to swear fealty (given neither Andalusia nor Denmark have yet drifted in, and you are not dutch to form Frisia with the half France uses to own)
