O.K. maybe someone else has noticed this, I was playing as Venice in 1793 and I noticed that the United States had the Reformed religion but all of there provinces were pagan! Does any body know what I'm talking about.

Maybe LordScod means 1773. It's only in EUI that the US citizens have a pagan culture. Don't ask me why but yeah, only in EUI...
Are you playing the 1773 scenario? Or are you playing a GC and the US revolted as pagan. I've never seen this happen before. Then again, the US usually never shows up in my games either.
Unfortunately, many things in the later scenarios aren't correct, such as province religion. If it really bothers you, you can edit the save file to make all the US provinces reformed. Or better yet, edit the scenario file so that evetn 1773 game you play will have the right religion.
In all honesty, aside from looking bad, its not that big of a deal, unless you're playing as the USA, in which case its fairly bad.
