Problem with vassal limit

Hey guys,

I'm currently having problems with vassal limit (15/10). I have all DLC except Sunset Invasion and Jade Dragon.
I hold all countys in my primary duchy where I build baronies. I don't own any other county in my kingdom.

The solution for this problem seems to create new duchys and less, more powerful vassals, but I can't create any new duchy. Factions start rising because of the vassal limit...

Can you help me with this problem?

Ouch, that's a rough situation. Options are:

1. Increase Council power- each law after empower council gives +2.
2. Transfer some of the counts to your duke (right-click -> Transfer Vassalage). Not a great solution in certain respects, but will work short-term, and if you get the duchy later, you can just give it to one of the counts and it'll promote them out of the duke's vassalage, which helps.
3. Increase your Diplomacy enough to get more vassal limit. Carousing focus (which also helps with appeasing the factioneers), picking +diplomacy traits if an event gives a choice...

other than that, mostly just focusing efforts on getting the counties to make another duchy...

Tip 2 helped me to be just one above vassal limit! The problem was that some dukes only had one county and no vassals.

I'll try out the other tips.
