Last day I was wondering if it could be possible for a player to choose, if he is playing Spain, between SPR or SPA in the 1936 scenario, without resorting to the way everybody knows (reload, etc...).
It come to my mind the posibility to use the "country" command to change from SPR to SPA in the 1936 elections if the player chooses right. I tested and it worked, everything was fine, the SPR leaders vanished, the SPA leaders come to action... there was one single error: The flag on top of the screen (not the troop's flag, but the one avobe of the game menus) was still SPR.
Then I decided to start the SCW, but with SPR as the revolter. I created the country in the Revolt.txt file. However when the war started the game began to go wrong and a bit later it crashed down. Looks like, despite I switched from SPR to SPA, the game engine still considered me SPR, so when the SCW started, it found herself with TWO SPR, and then crashed.
Some advice from those expert crackers?
