Problem with the 1600s in GC

Every Grand Campaign game I've played I have not been able to get to even 1610. As soon as 1600 strikes the game crashes to the desktop randomly while just playing all the time. I have no idea what's causing this as it seems to happen at different times doing almost anything. This happens earlier to 1600 but not nearly as much. What can I do?

oKay well I did a search and it didn't help a lick. Everybody that had this problem pointed to a thread called "Running Problems" with cures...but I was unable to find said thread...so I'm still left and a game I can't play past 1600...

That's really wierd. My game tends to crash more often in the early years, not in the late ones.

it's on top of the support forum, the place you should have posted first . read it and then post your config if it didn't help.
