Problem with Protestantism and Reformed in EU4

So I have been playing EU4 for roughly around more than 1 year, starting from patch 1.15. Back then, I remember in most of my games, Protestantism and Reformed spread really fast after they appeared at the beginning of the years 1500s, and England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland...etc in particular would be always either converted to Protestant or Reformed. However, since the recent updates, Protestantism and Reformed seem to spread slower than usual, sometimes they don’t even spread to the outside of the HRE. And ever since I bought the Art of War and Common Sense DLCs, I never saw England converted to Protestantism or Reformed, Sweden got converted like 1 or 2 times only, the other games it remained being Catholic. Could there be any change of the mechanic in the game lately?
