I recently downloaded the EU patch v 1.10 but when I tried to install it I got a message saying "Europa Universalis is not installed on this computer". I've tried re-installing the game and putting the patch in the EU directory but it didn't seem to help. Incidentally, I'm using Windows XP, I bought the game in Australia and I'm using the UK patch (it occurs to me that I might need the North American patch, but I'm on holiday at the moment and can't check this now).
I was wondering also what changes are included and what bugs are fixed in this patch (compared to the unaltered game). I've been having a couple of problems with the game (eg. allies never enter into wars on my side regardless of how good my relations are with them, etc.).
