Problem with "One King to Rule"

So I just abolished the Sejm and the only government I can take is Despotic Monarchy instead of Absolut. Is this type of monarchy still exist in current patch? When I look into the possible government types there isn't an Absolut Monarchy on any level of adm tech. Am I doing something wrong?

With the introduction of Absolutism the Absolute Monarchy government was removed.

I'd expect the devs to change the achievement when they removed the government, maybe you need a certain amount of Absolutism for it to fire. But as I don't have the achievement I can't confirm, maybe someone else can.

Your government needs to be an administrative monarchy, at least that's what the wiki tells. Abolishing the Sejm via the event should be enough for the achievement to fire.

On another fyi note -- letting pretender rebels win no longer changes your form of government. So the only way to do this achievement AFAIK is the way OP did.

Nope, you can also form the Mughals and take the decision to change from an Iqta to an administrative government.
